Sherlock Holmes: From Books to Movie
5 out of 5 stars
Based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s books, Sherlock Holmes gets an update with writer/director Guy Ritchie, starring Robert Downey Jr. as Holmes himself and Jude Law as his sidekick, Dr. Watson. Other big names in this movie are Mark Strong as the film’s villain, Blackwood, and Rachel McAdams as Holmes love interest, Irene Adler. This movie started out with a bang when Holmes and Watson rush in to stop Blackwood from killing an innocent girl. When Holmes is told by Blackwood that there will be more murders and that he won’t be able to stop them from happening, it pushes him to figure out how to stop them. The whole movie centers on Blackwood, and how Holmes is trying to stop him.
Sherlock Holmes is filled with tons of action, good cinematography, and the acting was great from start to finish. The writing was very witty and provided nice comic relief for those who don’t especially love drama. The only reason for you to not go and see it would be because there are some points in the movie where it is hard to understand the dialogue. Sherlock Holmes will keep you guessing, and on the edge of your seat until the very end.

umm
yea…i can’t remove that <!—User Orders—> thing…..it doesn’t show up when i try to edit the article
Hey
YOu listed everything in it thatwas nessisary, but it lacked an undertone of actual interest. You could hint a little more about the plot and still not reveil anything. You gave the movie five stars but you sounded like you didn’t really care one way or the other. I think if you reworded alittle the article could be alot better.
