What's New in Drama?

The musical for this year will be Into the Woods, written by Stephen Sondheim, music and lyrics by James Lapine. Into the Woods is a masterful story that leads a bunch of new and old storybook characters on a magical and dangerous journey. This musical blends various familiar fairy tales with an original story of a baker and his wife, who are trying to reverse a curse on their family casted upon by an evil witch.   Into the Woods is a show full of well-known fairy tale characters with the original dark translations of the Brother’s Grimm’s fairy tales. Auditions for the upcoming ACC musical were held on January 15. Come see the perfomances: March 25th-27th.
