Golf Ends on High Note

The Chargers’ golf season finally came to a close with the state tournament. Our own Jeff Hund made it to the state competition and took 57th place out of approximately 100 participants. When asked about the tournament, Hund replied, “It was a very tough course and all of the other players were quite talented. I played my best the entire season, and it finally paid off in the end. Making state was my goal, which I worked for through all my practice during the season.”

Young Charger Squad Starting to Gain Momentum

The key for any team is to gain momentum heading into the postseason.  The ACC boys soccer is working towards that goal as they head toward the last couple of weeks in the regular season.   After a slow start to the season, this young team (half of the 24-man roster are underclassmen) has started to play better with a win and a tie during homecoming week.
